Register's lists of patents delivered to patentees, ca. February 1859-April 1876.

Lists are of land patents granting military bounty land issued under acts of Congress of 1847, 1850 and 1855 and delivered by Register. Entries for each patent include patent number, name of patentee, date patent was mailed or otherwise delivered, name of person to whom delivered (i.e., usually assignee or representative of patentee) and number of acres in tract. Also includes occasional note that patent was sent to General Land Office by order of Commissioner.

The Springfield Land District Office was created by act of Congress of May 8, 1822. All land in Edwardsville District lying north of line separating townships thirteen and fourteen north of baseline for third rincipal meridian was assigned to new district.
